Hello,

how could I add an unbound dimension entry control to a form (e.g. DropDialog)? I tried to add it in a straightforward way, but when opening the dialog in the UI the control is empty and no financial dimension are displayed:

Here are the properties of the dimension entry control

Thanks for any hint.
I have the same question (0)

    It seems that there should have been a hyperlink (on 'straightforward'), but it doesn't have any target URL. Therefore it's not clear what you actually did.

    Do you have any code setting a value to the Dimension control?

    the hyperlink was by mistake (there shouldn't be any).

    Currently I have no code to set the value. I just wanted to have an empty financial dimension control so that the user can enter a value for the different financial dimension configured in the system which are processed when closing the dialog.

    This is my current result:

    It works for me if I add code like this to form's init() (below super()).
    dimension.parmCompany(curext());
    dimension.parmDisplayValues(true);
    dimension.reactivate();

    that was the missing part. Thanks Martin

    Once the control is working I'm struggeling now to "extract" the value the user entered in the form from the "Dimension Entry Control"

    I tried Dimesion.valueStr() which is empty even if the user enters values in the different financial dimensions.

    How could I get the value?

    to get the value you have to use: Dimension.saveAttributeValueSet()
