hi,

when i try to open any of the reports of workflow tab present in "Organization Administration" module, i get the below error.

No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it ::1:2383.

any idea how to resolve this issue. thanx in advance

Hello

The following security settings are required:

1.) The user who runs the AX client must have permissons on the SSRS Reporting Server site.

2.) The system user which runs the SSRS Reporting Services service must have the System Administrator role in AX. Normally we use the Business connector user for this.

Usually mean that the AX and SSRS integration is broken

thanx for the suggestion, but if AX and SSRS integration is broken then for all reports it should fetch the same error. In my case all other module reports are working fine. only workflow reports related to Organisation Administration module fetches "No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it ::1:2383" issue. what can b the reason can u suggest me.

That happens might be the cause of AOS got restart unexpectedly, Please try to do full CIL and restart AOS service.

Hi I am getting the same error but with different code while creating workflow.

Workflow threw an exception for the following reason: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 1 808.

I have tried all the suggested solution, can you please suggest further on this.

Hi Sandhya,

The main reason for this error is SQL Browser. It must be running using 'Local System' instead of 'Network Service'.

Please make sure that the firewall is not blocking the request.

and also be sure that the following services are running from Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services

Net.Tcp Listener Adapter;

Net.Tcp Port Sharing Service

Hi Sandhya

Could you try head over to the server hosting SSRS, open the business connectors local "appdata"-folder and remove all the client cache files (*.AUC and *.KTI).

Given your business connector user has the username "daxbc" you should find it under:

c:\users\daxbc\appdata\local.

After deleting all the files, restart the SSRS service and try run the report again.
