Migrating customer data from Nav On Premise to Dynamics 365 for Financials

Hi 

We are looking into the possibility of moving the entire data of a customer ( Setups, Masters and Transactions) from On Premise 2016 or 2017 to Dynamics 365 for financials.

Lets assume the customer has done minimal customizations to Nav.

How seamless will this process be and is there any tool available for such migration.

    Hello,

    There isn't a migration tool available in Financials to handle this scenario yet.  You could export everything into the Excel template and then import it, but this only handles minimal master record import.

    There is a new import solution that will be available for Financials in an upcoming update that NAV users will be familiar with.  I don't have a timeline for this but it should be soon.
