Expire field in Position form

Hello Team,

I have select the Option Position Action in setup of Human Resource Shared Parameter.
While creating or editing the Position under Relationship section; we have "Expire" field.

Kindly let me know the use of this field.

Hi AkankshaJha,

You can create the position action to set the expire date of the hierarchy relationships between workers.

Hello QianQW,

I have done the same steps. But what is needed is the use of this field "Expire" which only appears while editing/creating the Position.

Once the details are saved in this section it shows worker. The significance of Expire field is not relevant.

Hi AkankshaJha,

Check the message log of this postion action to see if it was successful.

If so, the relationship expiration will take effect on the day the action takes effect. You'll notice that the invalid hierarchy name is no longer displayed, and the associated workflow will also report errors and fail when enabled.

You can change the system's session date to test this in a test environment.
