GP 2013 fonts too small to read

GP 2013 small fonts on a new Yoga 2 Pro.  Anyone know how to fix this problem?  Have a 24" monitor attached to the new machine that was also attached to the old laptop.  Monitor is set to the same resolution and it worked on the old one but not the new Yoga.  Yoga also has the font problem.  We also use another product that is written in Dexterity but loads with GP 2010 instead of GP 2013.  No problem with that program.  Have played with the resolution and display scaling level with no luck.

I absolutely just Figured out how to fix this on 4/15/2015 on a windows 8.1 machine

you have to right click on the GP icon

mark it run in compatibility mode - set it to run in window 7 mode -

    select run in 640X480

Disable display scaling on High DPI Settings - and that fixed it on Windows 8.1

This is a work around that's working for me with a Yoga 2 Pro.

If I change the font to a lower resolution and then log out (can also cold boot or restart) and sign in I am able to read the GP 2013 screens.  This creates another problem IF you want to use higher resolution - as soon as the higher resolution is set all the other desktop and tray icons and start menu sub menus are now so small that they can't be read.  If you log out (cold boot or restart) with the higher resolution and log back in the icons and start menu sub menus can be read but GP is now to small to read.  Until GP fixes the problem (which they know they have but aren't giving a date it will be fixed) I'm setting the resolution to the one that makes GP readable - unfortunate that the high resolution can't be used.  Not an answer but a work around.  Thanks for your responses.

This seems to be a known issue with GP2013.  Here is another post about this same problem - community.dynamics.com/.../108184.aspx.

I cant really talk to the Yoga 2 Pro directly however in cases where adjusting font scaling doesn't work really the best option is one of the new features in GP 2013.

The web client version of GP 2013 scales very nicely (adjust the internet browsers scaling). I'm adding some information about the GP 2013 web client below.

If you have any questions please feel free to let me know.
