Can not share event from events portal on Linkedin

I have created a Events Portal for a customer. Now the customer wants to share a event from this website in a LinkedIn post. But this is not working.

When I use the Post Inspector (linkedin.com) I get a 404 when I try the link. When I use the homepage it is working fine.

Sharing the event on FaceBook is working fine too.

Has someone experienced the same problem and found  a solution for this?

Have you tried creating a new event to see if there is the same problem on Crypto token.

    Hi,

Have you tried creating a new event to see if there is the same problem.

Since I can never reproduce your problem, if the links to other events have the same problem, it is only recommended that you reconfigure the Portal for your Marketing Application.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Best Regards,

    Nya

    Hi,

I found that the URL in your screenshot has been customized. The original URL ends with "?id=Event_xxxxx".

If the URL has been customized, copy this URL directly to a new page to open it, it will show Page Not Found.

It also reports a 404 error in Post Inspector.

You need to click on the icon to the right of the URL to open it and the new page will open with a redirected URL.

Copy this link to Post Inspector and it will work fine.

If this helped you, I'd appreciate it if you'd mark this as a Verified Answer, which may in turn help others as well.

yes. The url is customized. And when a copy the url it looks likes the page is opened right.

But when I open the developer tools (F12). I see a error message:

I don't know why I get this message but I think I must solve this first.

    Hi, Lanzo

May I know how your customer get the link of the event.

I have tried to post the link in the “Website and form” tab of the event to LinkedIn. It can be posted normally.

And here is the result in the post-inspector.

Please confirm if there are any mistakes in the Link acquisition process.

If this helped you, I'd appreciate it if you'd mark this as a Verified Answer, which may in turn help others as well.

    Best Regards,
