Report is repeating only one record in all pages

ReportReport

Hi Everyone,

When I am filtering my records in a request page default filter ... it is giving me the first report as many times as many records I have given in filter. e.g If I have given two records in a no. filter then it is taking the first record and giving me the report two times ... if i have given four then it will me report 4 times ... means the count of report is fine but its giving only first report..

Like in fig I have selected two records in no. filter so i am getting the first record report two times... and not getting the second one ...

If any one have any idea.. please let me know..

Thanks!

I regret to tell you, but the report (and it is likely a custom report) is poorly written, and instead of looping on records or pages, it's looping on copies.

A typical report (see Report 10074 for Sales Invoices) takes the dataitems, massages them, and then generates the output by running a Copy Loop, and within it a Page Loop, and within it the fields for the records.

There is no simple fix. The current code is taking the count of records and using that integer value to drive the Copy Loop. The report developer will need to correct this - and perhaps he/she may be best served by rewriting it in a better thought out way.

I hope this helps. If my response has answered your question, please verify by clicking Yes next to "Did this answer your question?"

You need to check on layout how grouping is done on report . Is there any grouping ?
