What is the concept of wave in advance warehouse management ? and what is cluster picking. can anyone explain these both thing with example.........?

A wave contains orders with some similar property that you want to release in the Warehouse for picking at the same time.
Cluster picking is combining separate picking work to be picked at the same time by the same worker.
@GuyTerry, Will a wave always result in a single pick list or can multiple pick lists be generated from one wave?
I think it's fair to say that a single wave will result in one instance of work, UNLESS you do something to break it up. You use Work breaks on the Work template to break up the work.
