From NAV Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 R2, Version US Dynamics NAV 6.0 SP1, Role Tailored Client.

I’m attempting to build RTC type reports for Item / Package type labels. I’ve expectations that my labels will include bar codes and logo’s. I’ve only had limited success. As I’ve struggled through this process, I’m beginning to think it may prove more successful to work with a label type program that allows for some type of integration (like Bartender).

I’d appreciate any suggestions/comments/recommendations? Thanks,

    Lanham and Associates has a pack of barcode fonts. So when you're printing to the labels, you can just use the barcode fonts.

    Enclose your barcode with '*' so the barcode reader knows when to begin and end.

    We use a program made by Teklynx called LabelView to print labels for all of our materials. We created custom table, then added a function to the sales orders to export the lines to the custom table. Then you can design a tag in LabelView to suit your needs with the SQL DSN to read the custom table for the data. If you have more than one user that will be printing the labels, you can add a SQL query to the tag for the specific user id.
