Regarding Conversion Of Special Symbols in XMLPort

Hi Blog Memebers,

I am facing an issue in XML Ports which is Special symbols in Description is converted to other Symbol for example

"Teijin Aramid WV LFT AT Flex 490±50 Gsm LT"

is converted to following after importing through XML port 

"Teijin Aramid WV LFT AT Flex 490€50 Gsm LT"

 

The ± sign is replaced by € sign

    Hi Harsh,

    Certain points to be considered to look into your issue:

    1. Regional settings of Server

    2. Code in XMLPort (to check if there is any function which converts special character)

    It'll be easy to understand the issue if you can share the above details.

    Hi Harsh,

    Change TextEncoding property of XML port to WINDOWS may help.

    Hi ,

    I Nav 2013 there are three options

    1. MS-DOS

    2. UTF-08

    3. UTF-16

    I have tried all the three but facing same problem.
