Please watch the above report picture, that is already we have, just adding 2 fields, which i have shown colorful in this post. On the  form design  we have button group in  Button group ->Menu Button and in Menu Button-> Simple Button on that simple Button click event. When a user click that Button(on the form) it generate above report, we are  going to just add 2  fields in the report. That fields i shown colorful for your understanding.

So what is your question? How to do that?

Basically you can copy this report, do modifications that you need and call it from your menu item. There is no need to handle ButtonClick event, because you need to use MenuItemButton in this case

    Fedir Kryvyi,

zoom this picture, our requirement is menu button not menuitembutton. In manu button there is simple button and in simple button click event. Watch the below picture for further understanding.

So what's the problem? Hide this button and create new menu item button. Also this is the tread for D365, not for AX2012.

In case you need to do that by event handling(due to some reason), you need to call main method of Controller class that is used to run your report, or you can pack args and use MenuFunction to call menu item that calls report without actually having menu item.
