Smartlist Excel Report - 5 to 2 Decimal

Hello.  I recently upgraded from GP 2010 to 2013.  When I generate a report via SmartList and then export it to Excel, the dollar amounts show up with 5 numbers to the right of the decimal, instead of 2 like before.  (i.e $123.45000 instead of $123.45).  Is there anyway I can change this?  Thanks so much!

    Hi,

    I think you have discovered a bug! Surely it's not supposed to do this. Now this is an unsupported dex.ini switch, but it works (be careful, there have been oddities).

    SmartListEnhancedExcelExport=TRUE

    Put that in your dex.ini file (in the Data folder) and your currency will go back to two decimals. You'll also notice a drastic increase in your download speed.

    I tried various combinations of the following .ini switches and not of them worked.

    ListsFastExcelExport=TRUE

    StdInternationalInfo=FALSE

    ExplorerFormatCurrency=TRUE

    Kind regards,

    Leslie

    Oh, I tried both True and False settings.

    Be careful with the Dex.ini switch mentioned by Leslie. You might not be happy with the way it treats leading zeros, zeros or blanks in your export.
