Hi,
I'm currently working on massively importing sales order thanks to Data Management. Except that, to import sales orders into DM, you must first import the Headers excel file (to generate the order numbers) and then retrieve these order numbers to be able to put them in the Lines Excel file. Which makes 3 steps not very ergonomic. There is the solution of the entity "Composite Sales Order V3" which requires only one XML file but even less ergonomic for the customer. Have you ever mass-imported sales orders (or any other object that contains a header and lines)? Do you know an easier way ?

If your purpose is a data conversion from a legacy system, you can use manual assigned numbers. If it is about a recurring integration, you can consider a manual assigned number or create automation with help of Logic Apps or Power Automate.
