Microsoft Dynamic AX Demo for developer

Hi guys,

We are planning to develop a connector for Microsoft Dynamics AX with the .Net Business Connector.

Currently we are only have the action pack subscription.

Is it possible to get a demo version of ax whether offline or online to test our connector ?

    You should use AIF or OData to connect with AIF. When 2012 came out, Microsoft said Business Connector was there for legacy apps but will be removed in the next major release. Considering next release will support cloud, it makes sense.

    Hi mzda

    Additionally to what Joris say, for download the Microsoft Virtual machine with Dynamics AX you must have the Customer or Partner source credentials.

    Verify your action pack subscription, if you are qualified for Dynamics AX product or not.

    You can find dynamics AX from partnerSource or CustomerSource

    Please check if you have access to above portal

    Please check with your organization administrator for this.

    Or you need to get MSDN subscription for demo version of AX

    please verify and update us with your findings

    @all other: I dont have the partnersource access and my msdn subscription doesnt include ax :( So I will try to contact our partner management
