Lead Created for Each Event Results in Duplicate Leads

I have it set so my event registrations create a lead. It is creating a lead and linking it to the contact, but as a result I have duplicate leads (linked to the same 1 contact) because they are attending multiple events.

Is there a way to create a lead only if they are not already a lead with the associated contact? Or merge the leads nightly?

Hi,

You can create a flow to achieve this.

Trigger the flow when a lead is created.

Find the existing contact of the lead.

List the related leads of the contact.

If the count >1, delete the lead.

So that there will not be duplicate leads.

Hi Nya,

Is there a way to add to the Flow to add the activity or merge records? For example if the second lead is created from an event creation, I would like to capture that data too.
