Product Configuration Model - Error with Sub Component

(0) ShareShare

My Product Configuration Models has multiple Sub Components.

As soon as i activate them (integrating them into the BOM Positions of the Main Model)

i can not configure the Model anymore, after clicking "OK" i get the Error

"The Configuration XXXX has not been assigned to the Product "Name of the Sub Component""

Debugging gets me somewhere to the Description, which cant be.

All my sub components are associated with a released product, which all got the right product dimension group.

So Whats wrong? 7178.Unbenannt.PNG

Help would be much appreciated!

regards.

RE: Product Configuration Model - Error with Sub Component

    Hi new_axys,

When creating a PC version to link a model with a released product, by default field "To date" will be equal to today's date.  Make sure the to date is bigger (ie 12/31/2154).

Also, when importing a model from another environment, some infos (like version, Template, etc) will be loss.  Make sure version still exists.

There is no Problem with the Version of any of the Components. Its all there. I am no stranger to the World of Configuration Models. It really looks odd ...

    SOLVED:

Warning to all - do NOT leave the "reuseable" flag for any Component / Subcomponent on "YES" .

It will not be able to create a new Configuration ID
