Hi guys,

How to see the full content of 1 security role, its duty - privileges, with their AOT name in AX2012 ?

Probably something like those View Permission in Security Configuration in D365 FO.

And can we export those AX2012 Security (role-duty-privilege) into D365 FO ?

Hi Ken,

For AX 2012, there is no direct report like View permissions. It required coding to compile all permission details. The second link provided by Layan in her last reply has a reply how to upgrade the security from AX 2012 to Dynamics 365.

Hi Ken,

I'm not sure if there are any reports, you need to go the security menu item in AX12 and check if there are any reports. Or go to security tables and find references.

As for migrating security roles, wasn't there an upgrade tool for Ax12 and D365FO?

Thanks. May I know as well is there such report in AX2012 ? Because the link your provided seems to be D365 FO side. For D365, the View Permission in each role already helped a lot.
