Work hours in dynamics 365 field service

Greetings,

We have bookable resource entity in dynamics 365 field service and work hours associated with that entity.

I should be able to see the work hours in a new custom entity in the form of table but not the actual form of work hours

I mean, when i create a work hour for the bookable resource, a work hour should be created along with the resource name in the new custom entity, if i create another work hour for same resource- a new record with work hours and resource name should be created in the custom entity, if i delete work hour in the bookable resource it should be deleted in custom entity.

Can anybody please guide me on this?

    Work Hours are not that simple.

    The main entities are Calendar > Calendarrule > Innercalendarrule

    An example of some code is here for reference - www.daymandynamics.com/.../

    You may need to code a plugin to do it and I think its the creation and deletion of the 'Calendarrule' that you might need to trigger on

    Hi Enh,

    I also found that we cannot configure the work hour entity, so my idea cannot be realized.

    I will move it to the dynamics 365 field service forum to see if any experts have any ideas.

    Can you please say me what is the name of the work hour entity in back-end?
    Because I'm new to this so I don't know about it and I Wasn't able to find
    Please advise

    Hi Enh,

    The relationship between bookable resource entity and custom entity, work hour entity and custom entity should be both 1:N.

    So the custom entity has two lookup fields, one is for bookable resource entity, the other is for work hour entity.

    Then create a workflow, the trigger is that when a work hour for the bookable resource is created, the step is that create a record of custom entity, and set the two lookup field value.

    Finally create a Power Automate flow, the the trigger is that when a work hour is deleted, the first step is to list records of custom entity that the work hour lookup field value is null, the second step is to delete a record that the result of list records step.
