Issues with Excel integration

A user cannot see the /Open in Excel/ options while in the /LedgerJournalTable3/ form. However, when I add the exact same security roles and legal entity restrictions on my test user, I can see and access them.

The strange thing is that they were visible for the user previously, and we managed to retrieve them by resetting the usage data for his user. However, the next day, they were gone again.

Any suggestions for how we can solve this?

Hi Gaute,

I haven't seen this issue before. Have you checked if the data entity is part of the security role? How is the behavior with other users having the same role assignments? If you reset the usage data again, will the option then be visible?

Hi,

If you're not sure why this is happening, you can check your system settings first:

Has the system been custom-developed? Does the user have the necessary permissions to open Excel and access a specific form?
