Hi,
I have develop a custom fetchxml based report in my VS2015.
During the develop of the report, it works fine when i try preview, build and rebuild my report in my VS.
But when i try upload the report in Dynamics 365, got an error saying
This report type is not supported. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Online supports only reports that use Fetch XML data sources. If you contact support, please provide the technical details.

Yes i was using shared data source for the report.
After i change to embedded connection on my datasource then finally i can upload and view my report on Dynamixs 365.

As Shaheen, pointed out correctly you should be using embedded connection for each SSRS report you would like to upload in Dynamic CRM.
