Dear Expert,
In order to link one MR report to another MR report, in the role definition (Row links), we need to put the folder path to point to a certain cell of the report saved in the nominated folder in MR library, right?
Does anyone know how to create a new folder in the library and make sure that only certain reports generated from MR are automatically saved in that folder?
Does anyone have a good procedure document to share?
I am with AX 2012.

Hi Jennifer,
Rather than linking different financial reports - which is no longer supported in D365FO - you can include two different reports in one.
As an example, if you want to link the Income Statement profit / loss to your balance sheet equity section then you can use the Income Statement report, make all lines non-printable and start designing your balance sheet report right below.
This allows you referencing the different elements from the Income Statement in the Balance Sheet as needed.
For other kind of reports the same principle works.
Given that you will probably upgrade to D365FO in the future, this design seems better as the linkage of reports is only supported in AX2012.
