I would recommend to start using search engines.

"ax query join union" gave me excellent answers in the first 2 returned hits:

    msdn.microsoft.com/.../cc605991.aspx

    axdaily.blogspot.hu/.../union-queries.html

I do not want to sound rude, but we often get newbies on the community asking the most basic questions, and each time we have to teach them (some take longer then a month) to make them understand that 9 out of 10 of the answers is in the documentation, or blogs. Please be more self-aware and use the tools available to you, then if you get stuck based on the documentation, ask the specific questions.

But a better solution is to find a mentor at your company who can guide you, or get involved with an implementation and ask the senior staff there.
