Standard Audit File (SAF) electronic reporting for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 RTM (CU5 +FPK)

Posted on by 75

Hi Experts,

Standard Audit File (SAF) electronic reporting is available in the Polish version of Microsoft Dynamics AX (R2/R3 )

and AX 2009  -  https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/help/3165114/standard-audit-file-saf-electronic-reporting-is-available-in-the-polis , We are running Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 RTM (CU5 +FPK) and hotfix is not available for our version. Can you guys suggest what are the options for us now ? Should i try downgrade the SAF solution to our version ? Someone downgraded SAF solution in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 RTM (CU5 +FPK) ? Or do we have any other hotfix available for Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 RTM (CU5 +FPK)?

Any pointer will be highly appreciated.

Thanks,

Manish Verma

    Hello Manish Verma,

I see. In this case I would recommend that you reach out to the MS support directly. They might be able to provide some help here and give you a recommendation on what to do to get this fixed in the old AX2012 version.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

Thanks Ludwig for quick response, We are going to upgrade in D365 and will be going to be live in D365 by September 2020, so we can not afford another upgrade in AX 2012 R3 before D365 implementation.

    Hello Manish Verma,

Is an upgrade to a more recent AX2012 version, such as AX2012R3 an option for you?

That would be the best option even though it might involve a lot of work and time.

Sooner or later you will need to upgrade anyway and why not using this 'opportunity'?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
