Duplicate Record error when trying to create major or minor version of Knowledge Articles

Hi,

Can anyone help?

I am trying to use the "Create major version" or "Create minor version" functions in Knowledge Articles within CSH.

I get an error saying:

A record that has the attribute values {1} already exists. The entity key {0} requires that this set of attributes contains unique values. Select unique values and try again.


My original articles (migrated from Parature) show a Major version number of 1 and Minor Version number of 0.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Using Dynamics 365 Version 9.0, CSH 9.0.5.61

    You are getting this error because you have alternate key in Knowledge article entity.

    Please find out alternate key name. Dynamics 365 do not allow duplicate alternate keys.

    Brilliant! - For whatever reason, we had Parature ID as an alternative Key in the entity.

    Removed it and all now working fine.
