Data packages to import

Hi,

I am trying to understand where I can get the data packages to get the entities I need to populate my environment from another system.

I need to know what entities I will need for customer and vendors, but I cannot find it, I tried looking on the lcs, but unless it has a weird name, I cannot find it.

Where can I find it?

Thanks

Astrid

    HI Astrid,

You are confusing me a bit. All available data entities are listed in the application via the Data Management workspace. LCS is having some data packages with demo data.

Probably we should ask you a question in return. What exact data do you need to import from your legacy system? Then we can suggest if you need other data entities next to the main master data for customers and vendors, like contact persons, delivery addresses and more.

You can find that in data entity tile in data management workspace.

Note- Data entity and data packages are two different things.

Thanks, I am aware of that, but I also think there is a list of entities related to one specific thing, like Customers for example. where i can get the data package that has the list of entities that I need.

    Hi Astrid,

In the Data Management workspace, you can create new export and import projects. When you create a new project, you can add entities. To start, you can use the Customers V3 and Vendors V2 entities.
