inline images in notes

I apologize if this is a duplicate question but I didn't see it in the search and I am new to dynamics customer service. Is it possible to allow inline images in notes for tickets? Or are you only able to attach them? I would like users to have the ability to put screenshots of user issues in their notes.

Hello Vanessa,

At the moment it's possible to attach files as separated attachments and inline embedding of images is not supported.

This is possible now if your crm is Online and Wave 2 is enabled.

Hi Vanessa,

In 2020 Wave 2, an admin can set the Timeline to be expanded or collapsed by default, as covered in the feature "Configuration Experience for Timeline in the New Form Designer". Users now also have the option to expand or collapse all records in the Timeline by clicking the Expand All/Collapse All button.

The rich text control now available for Notes is the same as used by email, providing the ability to copy/paste and drag and drop, for example.

This rich text control also brings inline image capabilities to Notes.

I appreciate everyone's responses but I am still unable to toggle inline images. I turned on rich text but that is the only thing that is missing from the options when a note is created. My notes have the options below, and you will notice that the image icon is missing. Is there something else I should turn on in options? Thank you!

Check if you have enabled 2020 wave 2 release on your crm instance.

Hi Bipin,

That looks like that was the issue. We just finished implementation for dynamics so I am still learning my way around the system and didn't know that the company we hired to do the implementation didn't turn this on. Thanks again!
