Hi, we are a local business in Plano, TX and just finished implementing GP.  We are looking for training resources for short term and for ongoing basis.  Can someone recommend some solutions?

    As a new GP customer, you have access to Microsoft CustomerSource, a website with a ton of reference and informational material, including training materials for GP.  You have many choices - hard-copy, eLearning, classroom training, on-site training, etc.  What about your GP Partner who did the implementation?  Do they provide training services?  Most GP partners do, which would be another avenue you could explore.  Then there are myriad books on Amazon for GP.  Accolade Publications is another great resource for GP reference materials.  You should join the GP Users Group (gpug.com) if you're not already a member.  They offer a ton of training opportunities from webinars to local chapter meetings, where you can rub noses with other users, to an annual conference with more opportunity for learning.

    There are a lot of You Tube Video's that are useful  for basic Training.  As listed below there are several books available.  Look at the reviews for the GP Books these reviews sometimes with other types of books you can't trust the books, but I enjoy books from Vicrotia Yudin, Mark Polino  they have the user in mind are not so technical.
