NOTE: This issue occurred to my client backup in Oct 2021 and has re-surfaced. At that time it was some Windows Updates that caused the issue .. would have to look at notes to determine the updates uninstall and reinstall at that time but likely not the same issue as now.
-----------
Scenario: Multi-cheques printed in a batch.
1st cheque: Prints normally .. cheque top section correct .. middle table section correct .. bottom table section correct
2nd cheque: Prints compressed middle with bottom table sections combined .. cheque top section correct .. middle table section starts in right position .. bottom table section repositions directly under the middle table section
3rd (and following) cheque: Prints compressed middle with bottom table sections combined .. cheque top section correct .. middle table section starts in right position .. bottom table section repositions directly under the middle table section
------------
Tried two system and multiple GP logins .. only one system succeeds first time with a user login then failed under different user then failed again under the original user
Any thoughts ?
Hey Force12,
With the information provided, my assumption would be a driver for your printer got updated with the windows update.
If you still have a working machine, I would compare the printer drivers between the two and see if these are the same. If not the same, try installing the one from the working machine on the none working machine to see if this makes a difference.
I don't see a windows update changing anything in regard to GP itself.
I assume the Report is modified. You could try recreating the Reports.dic and synchronizing to see if it makes a difference or not.
If the above does not work, you would want to double check that the security is set for the Modified Reports for the users and company having the problems.
Administration >> Setup >> System >> Alternate/Modified Forms and Reports
I hope this helps!
Thank you!
