Hi All ,

Ax 2012 R2 .

In customer master we have field that credit rating .. how can we use this field ?

Is it manual or does it automatically update ?

Could any one share your implementation experience some examples how can we implement this field in the real world ?

    It is manual. If you were to use any credit rating software Dun & Bradstreet, Experian etc you could capture it there to give your business an indication of the credit worthiness of the customer and then the extent to which you should be worried about outstanding debt and the amount you should give them credit for or your credit insurance will cover. It depends ultimately if the customer rates the credit rating of the customers they have.

    From your post i understood that the field is  just information purpose only and system does not use this  field any kind of automatic calculations to block the customer.
