Dear All,

Please let me know which Tables  & Classes exactly triggered during invoicing of each and every stage of Sales Order and Purchase order.

    You can use the debugger and/or the trace parser to find these details. What is the reason for this question?

    I already debug the process but still having some confusion reg. Tables. If you gave me the answer then i can match. I am correct or not. That is the only reason to post the question.

    Your question is about naming probably 60 classes and 100 tables. Maybe less, maybe more. If I knew the answer by heart, it is still too much to provide in an answer quickly.

    I'm trying to help answering a lot of questions in my spare time as volunteer, but cannot spent hours on just one question.

    A). Sales Order 

    Classes :

    1. Confirmation : SalesFormLetter_Confirm
    2. Picking List :     SalesFormLetter_PickingList
    3. PackingSlip :     SalesFormLetter_PackingSlip
    4. Invoice :     SalesFormLetter_Invoice

    Tables :
    1. SalesTable contains all SalesOrder headers regardless whether they have been posted or not.
    2. SalesParmTable and SalesParmLine contains detailed information regarding posting sales headers and Lines.
    3. Confirmation  : CustConfirmJour and CustConfirmTrans tables.
    4. PackingSlip  : CustPackingSlipJour and CustPackingSlipTrans tables.
    5. Invoice : CustInvoiceJour and CustInvoiceTrans tables.

    6. PickingList : ???
    7. PickingList Registration : ???

    ***  Please verify Classes and Tables for SO. is't correct?
    Please give me the answer of point 6 and 7.

    B). Purchase Order

    Classes : 

    1. PurchFormLetter_PurchOrder
    2. PurchFormLetter_ApproveJournal
    3. PurchFormLetter_Invoice
    4. PurchFormLetter_PackingSlip
    5. PurchFormLetter_ReceiptsList

    Tables :

    1. PurchTable contains all purchase order headers regardless whether they have been posted or not.
    2. Posting :  PurchParmTable and PurchParmLine.
    3. Packing Slip : VendPackingSlipJour and VendPackingSlipTrans.
    4. Invoice : VendInvoiceJour and VendInvoiceTrans.
    5.Receipt : VendReceiptsJour and VendReceiptsTrans.
    6. Requisition : VendPurchOrderJour and VendPurchOrderTrans.

    Please let me know is't correct?

    Hi Arpan,

    Sales order tables:

    2 > Don't forget SalesParmSubTable and SalesParmSubLine.

    6 > WMSPickingRoute (Handling status: Activated) + WMSOutputOrder

    7 > WMSPickingRoute (Handling status: Completed) + WMSOutputOrder

    Purchase order tables:

    2 > Don't forget PurchParmSubTable and PurchParmSubLine.

    4 > The base tables for invoices in AX2012 are VendInvoiceInfoTable and VendInvoiceInfoLine. For posting also other tables are used. You have to do some more digging into this to find the complete details. You can start by having a look at the form VendEditInvoice in the AOT to learn more.

    I was afraid that you also wants to know about the more detailed classes and tables for e.g. project related purchase/sales, accounting entries, sales tax etc. Hope this will help you further.

    Hi Andre,

    Actually i found that FormLetter class of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 has been divided in to 8 base classes .

    FormLetterServiceControl, 
    FormLetterContract, 
    FormLetterParmData, 
    FormLetterService, 
    FormLetterProvider, 
    FormLetterJournalCreate, 
    FormLetterJournalPost, 
    FormLetterJournalPrint.

    Could you please let me know why these classes are introduced in to AX 2012 R3 which is not present in AX 2009 for SO and PO Posting.

    Hi Arpan,

    It has no use to ask persons to respond in this forum. Which Martin are you referring to? Note that we are all volunteers answering questions in our spare time. Of course I'm busy with my own work. Besides I do have a social life. If you need direct help, hire an expert.

    As said above, there are in detail many more classes and tables involved in the posting process. I'm not digging in it myself. Also this will cost too many time to answer. You can also use the Reverse engineering tool.
