Error when importing data through Configuration Package

Hi,

I am using NAV 2013 Configuration Package to import some records to Table Item. I got an error which says "The field Inventory Posting Group of table Item contains a value (FINISHED) that cannot be found in the related table (Inventory Posting Group)." Field Caption: No.

The value in Inventory Posting Group field is "COMPONENT", and we don't have a value (FINISHED) in Inventory Posting Group. I have no idea why I received this error.

I would appreciate if some one can explain it.

Hi,

You have Item attached with FINISHED as Inventory group and hence showing this error.

Either correct Item data that you are trying to import (to COMPONENT instead of FINISHED) or add FINISHED as Inventory Posting Group in the related table.
