Goal Seek function in NAV

Hi all,

Our client is currently using excel sheet to maintain records. They use the goal seek function currently in excel. Now they want to do everything that they did in Excel using NAV. So I want to know is it possible to customize and code goal seek function in NAV and what formula does the goal seek function use?

    For users who don't know what is goal seek function www.youtube.com/watch

    In NAV there is no analog of this function, so you have next options:

    - use customisation

    - change users behaviour

    - use Excel Addin for NAV (community.dynamics.com/.../how-do-i-configure-the-excel-add-in-in-microsoft-dynamics-nav-2017)

    Hi all,

    There is no standard method for developing goal seek in NAV. I completed developing Goal seek functionality in NAV by using customization and using different formulae according to the formulae used in the original Excel. So customization is the only alternative.
