SSRS report parameter display order

ReportReport

Hi All,

I have created three parameters (Sort by, From date, To date) on the SSRS report. Three parameters are coming correct on the AX report dialog box. The problem is the parameters displaying order is not coming correctly. Coming in this order (Fromdate, Sort by and To date).

If i run this report through internet explorer in the reporting service url, the parameter order is coming correctly.

Any idea to fix this issue?

Thanks,

Hari

Check in SSRS report designer (Visual Studio), the order that you want is correct or not.

sometime this issue occur due to this.

    Thanks for your reply.

The order (one by one) is correct in the report parameter section and report designer report data window parameter section also. Is there any property for order the parameter?

Have you use RDP class to make SSRS? if yes the you can give parameter order in contract class.

If you are using Report Data provider then add below code to you contract class on parameter

    SysOperationDisplayOrderAttribute("2")

    Thanks guys.

I am not using RDP class. Directly calling AOT query as datasource on the SSRS report.

    Hi All,

    Finally, i found the solution.

I have change the parameter name by order like below

    1. TES_1_SortBy

    2. TES_2_FromDate

    3. TES_3_ToDate

    It is working fine now.

    Thanks,

    Hari
