Planning worksheet

Posted on by 47

Hi sir,

I m facing one issue for one of my client.
Issue:- I m creating one item X, In reordering policy = Lot-for-Lot, safety lead time= 10D, and Lot accumulation period is = 10D

Now I have created a sales order and running "Planning worksheet" , it is suggesting to create a PO for required qty. , so I have been created a PO.

Now what is happening, when I m again running the "Planning Worksheet" for the same item , it is suggesting 2 line one with action message "
Cancel" and another one with action message " New".
that is not happening in cronus.

can you help me ?? any set is missing or its a bug?
B'coz its not happening in Cronus.

Check if you are having any customisation in your planning module or manufacturing setup. Ideally in base NAV the transaction should not show the behaviour you are mentioning.

    Dear Gulshan ,

As per your suggested answer , i have removed Dampner Period from Manufacturing set up and from item card as well. It is working fine but there is one more issue  like   (I am creating new Item 8888 with reordering policy LOT-FOR-LOT and for  the same item m creating SO with Qty. 10 and running planning worksheet for the same item 8888, it is suggesting to create a PO for 10 qty., once i have created the PO for the suggested qty. and againg running the planning worksheet , it is suggesting two lines with action " cancel and New".

    Regards,

Check if you are using any additional planning parameter the use of which you are not aware of or which are not used generally i.e. Dampener Period. If yes, remove those parameters and try again.
