Hi All,

I have five companies in Ax, In which i have imported and released items in two companies through DIXF "Product" entity. Now i want to import items along with item prices to all five companies. But i do not find any entity in DIXF to do. Here i need to do two things,

1. I just want to import item prices alone to already items imported companies

2. I want to import item and item prices to the remaining companies.

How to do this, Is that possible through Excel Addin? Please help me..!

Use "Price discount agreement journal" DIXF entity.  Refer technet.microsoft.com/.../dn507088.aspx or you can also use thedynamicsblog.com/trade-agreement-data-import-utility

Hi Anand, I hope that you are familiar with DIXF.  In that case, from target entities list, select price discount agreement journal entity, select entity structure and then target fields...you will get your answer...

    Hi Anand,

To get the items into the three companies which do not already have them, I think you should use the 'Items' entity. This entity is different from the 'Products' entity, in that it can be used to release products that already exist.

Importing of prices is separate. From your second comment, I think that you don't want to import Price / discount journals. You want to import what can be seen by going to the 'Manage inventory' tab in the ribbon bar of the Released products list page, and clicking on 'Item price'. Is that right?

If so, I do not think the 'Items' entity will import data here. In fact, I can't find any standard DIXF entity that will. You could create a custom entity, or you could try the Excel Add-in. I think this data goes into one table, so it might not be too hard to create the import. My suggestion would be to import 'Pending' item prices, and Activate them using the 'Activate' button on the Item price form.

    Hi Guy Terry,

Thanks for the reply, Yes you are correct, i want to import item prices in Released products->manage cost->item price.

If i use Excel addin to import pending prices, what are all the table sholud i need to select?

If you're importing Pending prices, you should look at the table ItemPriceSimulated. The table ItemPriceActivated contains prices after they have been Activated.
