How to create an E-Mail (content changable) via Power Automate in CRM

Dear All,

currently I'm really fighting with Power Automate and to connect the functions with CRM (looks different than before??).

My target is to create a flow button, which send out a pre-filled E-Mail, including some customer information from CRM - starting from the customer card in CRM.

Does anyone have a short guideline (or at least a screenshot of the process?) how to create an E-Mail Flow which will open an editable E-Mail-Template with some pre-filled customer information?

The mail should be send to specific colleagues and their addresses.

Thanks a lot for your help!

Best reagrds,
Robin

    Hi Robin,

    Please confirm my understanding,

You want to have one custom button, which will trigger power automate and in power automate you need action to create email with predefined data.

Then this email should get opened at CRM end and after this you will send the EMAIL record manually.

    Thanks,

    Pradeep.

    Hey Pradeep,

    yes, you're right.

I'd like to have the button in CRM which describes the action (f.e. "Request: Credit Insurance Check").

Then, I'd like that a predefined email will pop up, where the user has the chance to add some changes, or at least I need one field which can be added with custom information (credit insurance amount). This mail should also mention some information from the customer (name, no. country, etc. ...)

Do you need more information? :-)

    Robin

If yes then below are my suggestions:

    1. Create Ribbon Button on required entity

2.Create one http request/response power automate. Here we will use the create action of Dataverse and once record created then in response will send the GUID of new email record.,

    Sample Snap:

3.Create one script and call http request/response power automate. This script will trigger on click of ribbon button.

example for calling power automate from javascript
    http://microsoftdynamics.in/2020/08/23/execute-power-automate-flow-from-javascript-and-get-response-back-in-crm-form-on-demand-power-automate-flow-from-button/

Inside script we will write logic in success callback function to open record using method specified in below link:
    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/developer/model-driven-apps/clientapi/reference/xrm-navigation/openform

    Thanks,

    Pradeep.
