Proof of SQL Licenses for GP

Posted on by 1,439
We have a client that needs to demonstrate proof of their SQL licenses for GP.  They have nearly $1,000,000 of SQL licenses purchased through Dell. We provided the invoice to Microsoft, however they are requiring either an official Microsoft Invoice, a Microsoft Agreement or Enrollment number.  As the invoice is through Dell, it is not a Microsoft Invoice.  That said, where can I direct them to find their Microsoft Agreement or Enrollment number.  We had an open ticket with Microsoft and they advised us of the requirement, but were unable to direct us where the client could find it.

I would appreciate any advice or suggestions that can be provided.

If they purchased it all through Dell for that number of licenses, there has to be a Microsoft agreement laying around in Dell's systems. Can you open a ticket with Dell to get some answers from them? If they are fulfilling it, they've got to have that information *somewhere*.
