Create custom financial dimension?

Dear experts,

I want to know the way to create new custom financial dimension in General Ledger > Financial Dimensions > Financial Dimensions by using X++. I have a task to create new Financial Dimensions, but when I tried to create new record in DimensionAttribute table, it isn't work. Can anyone give me an example for this. Any help would be appriciated.

    Thanks for fast reply. But I think you misunderstood my question. 

    I want to create new Financial dimensions, not the value of it.

    For example, I want to create new dimension name like this, (eg. Demo1, Demo2...).

    Did you try to use search? There are many articles about how and where to create a financial dimension from a functional standpoint, and it is even explained in the official documentation:

    Now if you want to do it from X++, all you need to do is read the code on the form and in the tables involved to be able to replicate it.

    Can we know the business case for the need of adding a dimension programmatically? It sounds very scary, the financial setup including dimensions is something which you normally set in stone at the beginning of the implementation and should not be touched.
