Your user need to have this permission set EDIT IN EXCEL-ADMIN to be able to use feature Edit in Excel.
    In User Card set it.

I hope so this hint solve your issue.

    Hello,

The “Edit in Excel” issue usually occurs because the Business Central Excel add-in isn’t installed or enabled, the user is signed into Excel with a different account than their BC account, or pop-up/authentication settings block the Data Connector window.

Other common causes include outdated Excel version, disabled external connections in Trust Center, missing BC permissions, or cached credentials.

Ensuring the add-in is active, signing in with the correct account, updating Excel, and clearing credentials typically resolves the problem.

    Hi,

The issue is usually related to the Excel Add-in setup or user permissions. Common causes:
    > Excel Add-in not installed or disabled
    > Pop-up blocker or browser settings
    > Office account mismatch
    > Add-in blocked by admin policy
    > Excel version

If all above are correct, clear browser cache and reinstall the add-in.

    Thanks
    Rishabh

    Hello,

If Edit in Excel doesn’t show the login window on the user’s PC, it’s almost always a local Excel issue, not Business Central.

    Common causes:

The Dynamics Office Add-in is missing or disabled

Excel is logged in with the wrong M365 account

    Missing/old WebView2

    Browser/Excel cache blocking the popup

    Add-in corrupted

Fix: reinstall the Dynamics Office Add-in, sign out/in in Excel with the BC user, and clear WebView2/Excel cache.

    Regards,
