AX2012 R2 Released Product no longer available

I was wondering if there is any way to flag a released product as no longer active and remove it from the released product form.  I know we can use the default and site specific areas to stop p/o, inventory and sales but if these are used the product still appears in the released Product screens.

    There is no functionality for blocking released products as you describe.

    Deleting it as Harold suggest above is most probably not an option in real-life scenarios.

    Consider adding some sort of a YesNo flag on the table?

    Thanks, I'll add a flag to indicate a discontinued item and adjust reports to reflect this.

    Hi Paulina. As an alternative to adding a flag why not use an item group or model group or buyer group that flags the item as obsolete. Easy enough to filter items based on one of those.
