We have almost more than 1500 Posed Customer Payment Journals and now I can see only 5 posted Journals in the posted Journal's List

I need help to know about this, what would have gone wrong... why I can see only 5 posted AR Payment Journals

Regards

    Hi Sohaib

Can you please elaborate more about running this query, if you can help me with the steps. I know how to open Management studio, but how to run this query, I have no idea

    Hi Muhammad,

Probably not all persons do have rights to use this function. You can check the table SysLastValue if there are records where the ElementName field contains the value 'LedgerJournalCleanUp'. Then you can see which user had run it.

You can find this table in the AOT > System documentation > Tables. (not within the regular Data dictionary node)

Not sure for reason as we cannot access your system.

    But try following

    • Run following quires on your SQL Server Management Studio and observe results
    select JOURNALNUM,Name,DATAAREAID,* from LedgerJournalTable
    where LedgerJournalTable.JOURNALTYPE=7

    select JOURNALNUM,Name,DATAAREAID,* from LedgerJournalTable
    where LedgerJournalTable.JOURNALTYPE=7 AND LedgerJournalTable.DATAAREAID = 'ABCXYZ'
--I am using ABCXYZ as an example in my query. you have to replace this as per your AX

    • Make sure if there is any security which is restricting number of records on front end? Try to see by using sysAdmin.

    Hi Muhammad,

Can you check the contents of the table LedgerJournalTable e.g. directly in the AOT or using SQL management studio? Then check if the records are still present. If not someone might have run the periodic clean up job "Clean up ledger journals". In that case the posted journals are deleted.

    Hi Muhammad,

Are you sure, you are in the same company as you were in two days before?

    Thanks,

    Baber.

Its not something magical, try correct query to filter. If it were posted then system should show you all. Delete any posted transaction is AX is not that much easy. So may be you missing something try again. Or show some screen shots so that we can help you in a better way...

Yeah, I am selecting Posted only and the list is showing only 5, whereas 2 days before, it was showing 1500+ Posted Payment Journals

The question is, why AX is not showing those posted payment journals in AR?

You can also get reports of all the payment voucher.

Account Receivable --> Reports --> Transactions --> Payments --> Customer Posted Payments.

If payment vouchers are posted it will come to you on this report.
