Financial reporting error :The operation could not be completed due to a problem in the data provider framework

Hi all,

One of our client is facing issue with financial reporting. As soon as they open report designer this error is thrown "The operation could not be completed due to a problem in the data provider framework".

Can somebody help finding the issue and solution.

Also , following is the screenshot of event logs which I am not able to understand.

I have also tried resetting data mart it failed in integration and following is screenshot

Hi Jasdeep Singh,

At least in event logs you there is an error that change tracking is not activated for D365 F&O database.

You can try to activate it by yourself if you have access to environment DB, if you don't have and it's an MS-managed environment you need to create a support ticket to MS.

I will try that and I have also edited the post after resetting the data mart and screenshot is attached.

what could be the reason of failed integration?

Hi Jasdeep,

Disabled change tracking on the database can be the reason. You should try to activate it first and if you will still see issues, check the event log again for errors.
