Hello All,

I need to delete one unmanaged BPF from the system. This BPF has NO DEPENDENCY. Also, the BPF does not contains any record. Still, I'm not able to delete the Business Process Flow.

I'm getting the below error while deleting the BPF.

Can anyone help me with the same?

Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi,

    What do you see if you click "Details"?

    and when you select the BPF and click the "Show Dependencies", what do you see?

    Hi,

    If you click on "Details" it shows you the dependent components on the system. What does it say when you click on "details"?

    Regards,

    Joana

    Thanks for that. If you don't mind, please send the log file too (by clicking "Download Log File")

    Here is my understanding;

    • BPF is deactivated (if not, deactivate it)
    • There is no record in the entity that is created due to BPF creation.
    • No dependency of BPF that CRM shows

    You can do a trick, not sure if it would work;

    • Publish All Customizations
    • Activate BPF
    • Deactivate BPF
    • Delete BPF

    Hello Erhan,

    Please refer the attached file for your reference. I have tried to fetch the dependent reference with the use of the message RetrieveDependenciesForDeleteRequest but still I got 0 dependency

    ./cfs-file/__key/communityserver-discussions-components-files/761/ErrorDetails_5F00_BPF.txt

    Also, I have tried below steps but not getting any success.

    • Publish All Customizations
    • Activate BPF
    • Deactivate BPF
    • Delete BPF

    Let me know if you any further details from me.

    Hi,

    Thanks for that. My understanding from the error message, it doesn't throw the error message because of the BPF's dependencies. It throws it because of BPF's Entity's dependencies. Did you check the entity's dependencies by RetrieveDependenciesForDeleteRequest? Please make sure that entity is not being used anywhere.

    I have validated the BPF's Entity's dependencies. Out-of-the-box I can see the 17 dependencies. 15 are internal and 2 are published. 1 is entity on which I have configured the BPF and 2nd is the BPF process.

    I got 0 dependencies by RetrieveDependenciesForDeleteRequest.

    Let me know if you any further details from me.

    Sorry to hear that you are still having the issue.

    What i would say is that please make sure BPF and/or the entity is not being used in any Model-driven Apps or SiteMap. I can't think of anything else at the moment, i tried a scenario, it didn't show me that it was being used in the model-driven app, so that is why i ask you to make sure.

    Did you check if there are any records for that BPF entity. If there are records, trying deleting and see if it helps.
