SF to DYN Migration - Regarding (Lookup) mapping problem

Hi All,

I have a task to migrate data from Saleforce to Dynamics.

Event from Salesforce (SF) should be mapped to Appointment in DYN. I am using DYN Import Wizard tool for import data in DYN.

When I try to map SF WHATID property (Account, Opportunity and Campaign) from SF to Regarding (Lookup) DYN property, there are no options for Opportunity and Campaign Related Record Type: Reffed Field:

WHATID_5F00_To_5F00_Regarding.png

I've successfully created an Appointment related to an opportunity Regarding in DYN. (DYN allows 12 different regarding record types)

Dyn setup for Appointment Regarding is:

Data Type: Lookup

Target Record Type: Room

Relationship Name: msevtmgt_room_Appointments

I have the same issue when trying to import Tasks from SF in DYN. For mapping SF WHOID (Lead, Contact) and WHATID (Opportunity, Account, Campaign) DYN Regarding (Lookup) offers only Account as Related Record Types.

Is this something related to DYN setup?

Please need help!

Thanks

    Hello Adrian

First of all I want to thank you for your replay.

I've found workaround. In the DYN import xml mapping file I added attributes and elements for regarding lookups.

    Regards,

    Dusko
