Account Address losing data in City field

Hi there,

When leads are qualified in our environment we found that the data in the City field is being wiped.  I confirmed that the field from the Lead is mapping to the Account field accurately, but there is an update that takes place within a minute of the Account record being created.  To me it seems that it is connected to the concatenation of the Address field  - so I don't know how to trouble shoot this.

I've raised a job with Microsoft, but this is an urgent as it is the final issue for us to launch a project.
If anyone can advise or give pointers I'd be grateful - screen shot to assist!

    HI,

Can you check if any workflow/plugin updating the city field with null value?

Can you also check when you create Account record manually and set city value on create, does this value also getting wiped out?

Alternate solution would be to create custom field new_city and add this field in mapping to map city from lead to new_city field on account. Create Realtime workflow to update OOB field with Custom field value.

If found helpful, Please mark my answer verified.

    Hi Bipin,

After several checks we did find it was a dependent workflow that was clearing the field.
