Hi,
I need to delete a journal for long term to short term reclassification created but not posted by the batch in the leased asset module. I get this error message:
The only journal that is created and posted for this contract is the one for initial recognition.
Any ideas of what to do to delete the unposted journal??

Hi Will thanks, no batch jobs and no journal lines. I think the issue is unrelated to what's explained in that thread. I think it has to do with having confirmed schedules for leased assets depreciation, but I don't know how to "unconfirm" them. I'm not even 100% that would solve the issue. Nothing is posted nor created regarding depreciation journals for leased assets.

This appears to potentially be a bug as you're able to delete journal entries created from other schedules. If this unposted entry is preventing you from adjusting the lease, I would recommend posting the journal entry and then immediately reversing the entry through the Liability transactions form.
Agree, that's the workaround we did. An issue was open with Microsoft and a bug confirmed.
