Hello everyone,
The Main Account field is showing up under the Financial Dimension tab on the Purchase Requisition form. Is there any way I can get rid of it? All of the expense main accounts are already associated to Procurement Categories and I want to limit the users from overriding it.
Any help is appreciated!

Financial dimensions field that exists in on company it related to the active account structure that have defined that used in the company in the Ledger posting setup.
Ref. to your screenshot, it seem that you MainAccount as a financial dimension in the company with Custom dimension type.
In order to limit user access to Financial dimensions on Purchase Requisition form , you can evaluate to create a security role that does not have write access for changing values on Financial dimension on Lines and Head.

Thanks for your response. But the Main Account is not set up as a financial dimension on the Financial Dimension form, it's just added as one of the segments on the activated account structure.

No customization at all!

The financial dimension available on purchase requisitions and other similar forms is controlled by the account structures selected on the ledger and the segments selected on these account structures including advanced rules used on the account structures.
Suggest that you look at these different parts of the configuration and hope this helps you.

Thanks for response. This field is available on Purchase requisitions as standard. As it is already mentioned your can limit user access to Financial dimensions on Purchase Requisition form via creating a security role that does not have write access for changing values on Financial dimensions on Lines level.

I've got the same issue.
If I understand well, there is no other option except a development to avoid users to see and to modify this "financial dimension" "MainAccount" ?
But is it even possible ? I mean what "create a security role that does not have write access for changing values on Financial dimensions on Lines level".
But the users need to be able to change values on financial dimensions EXCEPT for "MainAccount" which is not a financial dimension in a funcionnal point of view.

I have the same issue here, did you find out which setup is responsible of it?
I looked to System Administration > Features management and I found nothing related to this.
