Hi,
We are holding an event that we want to set up a wait list once reaching maximum capacity. We use a Marketing form embedded in a D365 Marketing page for sign ups. Right now once the event reaches capacity, the form just returns a Sold Out message and doesn't actually add submissions to the wait list. I've even tried customizing the "Limit exceeded notification" field on the Form, but it still shows the default Sold Out message.
I've seen a few questions submitted several years ago with similar issues - does the Wait List function still not work properly?
Thanks,
Matt
Hi Amanda, we host our event registration forms on Landing Pages, because we don't use the Dynamics 365 Portal. At this time, full functionality of event registrations (including customization of the wait list) is only configured for use on the Portal. Microsoft told us they do not have plans to configure it for use on Landing Pages. At this time, we just make do as best we can, and are shopping around for a third party software for event management. Sorry I'm not more help, but best of luck!
Did you ever find a resolution to this issue? We've been experiencing the same thing.
Hi Matt,
The wait list function is still in backlog of the forms team,
