Error when creating quote from opportunity using write-in products

Hi,

we're receiving an error message trying to create a quote from an opportunity when the opp has write-in products attached to it.

Seems to me like it means the unit of measure for the opportunity product line, as that is not used for write-in products. I've checked in quote lines whether the uom field is accidently set as required there, but it is optional.

I also tried deactivating all active custom form scripts (just to be sure), business rules and processes, to no avail. Anyone got any idea?

Hello Thomas,

These kind of error messages could be caused due to a plugin or a Business Process Flow. Try to deactivate plugins on creation of Quotes and on Opportunity and Products to check for the working.
Also is it occurring on adding an existing product?

Hello Rashmitha,

We do not have any custom plugins. I deactivated all scripts, business rules and processes.

The problem only occurs when there is at least one write-in product, if you only use existing products, then it works fine.

I have seen this once before in one of my environments. You can try deleting the PSA anchor solution and then reinstall PSA. It won't delete / remove PSA or your data/configurations but will allow PSA to reinstall and resolve some of these errors. I would of course, do this in a non-prod environment first.
