SEPA Payment error in one company

Posted on by 560

In our AX 2012 R2 environment we recently upgraded from CU8 (6.2.2000.14) to CU9 (6.2.3000.110).

Since then, in one of our four companies, users are no longer able to create a SEPA CT payment file UNLESS the user is member of the sysadmin role.

If not, an error "Access denied: CustVendPaymentGenerationController" raises.

The company with the problem is the only company where an extra security configuration is set. This limited security is related to a specific sales role, and has (or should have) nothing to do with the AcccountsPayable/Receivable roles we use.

Nevertheless, this could be related, as I found an old KB3010296 ("AOS crashes when generating payments to SEPA together with limited security in one company") about a situation a bit like ours. Our AOS doesn't crash.

Has one of you solved an issue like ours, or has some tips&tricks for me what to check?

Kind regards, Maurits, The Netherlands
